The Constitutional Convention of 1787 & The Founding Fathers On Term Limits
In the hot summer of 1787, discussions, debates, negotiations, and conclusions were reached prior to the final draft of the U.S. Constitution being signed.
One of the topics of the convention, were Term Limits on The Legislative Body and the President.
Today Pro-Term Limit Advocates continually tell the citizens that the Founders wanted a volunteer government. Nothing could be further from the truth.
This webpage has been made to inform the citizen the TRUTH of what happened at the Constitutional Convention of 1787 and why The Founders of The Constitution opposed Term Limits.
The American Citizen has a responsibility to be informed and educated on our history and especially The Documents of Freedom which include The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, and The Bill of Rights. If that responsibility is deligated to someone else, without the citizens doing their own educational process, the loss of Rights and Choices will inevitably be lost.
