I've been fortunate in my life to have met and in most circumstances become friends with some of the most accomplished people in their fields, in the world.
Colonel Tom Henry is a dear friend and one of the truly great Warriors of the 20th Century. The Colonel and I met through the organization we both belong to, China Post 1. After many discussions that occurred between November 2010 and November 2011, Col. Henry and I talked about the history that he has lived, and the advise given to him by Tom Brokaw to write a book about the Great Warriors Of The Great Generation.
In October 2011, I received a phone call from Colonel Henry asking if I would be interested in collaberating on both a book and video documentary of his life. What an exciting opportunity to collect the thoughts of someone who has participated in so much military history during his life. I immediately answered YES!
We immediately began planning for the project of which we are both committed to and work is now in progress to create both the book and the film documentary of Colonel Henrty's life and experiences, beginning with the video collection of Col. Henry's recollections, in 10 year increments from 1923, his birth, through the remaining 20th and 21st Centuries, until today, when he uses his past experiences to benefit other Warriors who are unaware of many of the nuances of information and services available to them and their families.
When the immediate project of video biographical collection has been completed, we will begin editing and adding to it with maps, photos, awards recieved, until a detailed biographical experience of Colonel Henry's life is available to the public.
Colonel Henry is a National Military Treasure! Stand by world!
