I am a solo act and when I play for audiences, I arrive with a guitar, a microphone and an amplifier. I'm set up and playing in about 5 minutes max.
People are always curious to know what kind of music I perform. I play Classic Rock, Country, Blues, and a little Easy Listening.
I'm sure they also want to know if the music is suitable for their customers and guests to listen to. So I'm including this page to allow, Venue Owners, Managers, and Host/Hostesses of Private Parties and Special Events, to sit back and audition my music while online.
As a member of ASCAP, I take Songwriting Copyrights very seriously and totally respect and support the creative products that the songwriters and artists conjur up, seemingly out of nowhere. I don't sell cd's or other paraphernalia that exploits their creativity in anyway. I encourage my audiences to buy the artists and songwriters cd's and/or downloads.
I am a simple singer who presents some of the most "listened to" music that has ever been recorded, to audiences who might enjoy returning for a brief period of time, to an era that blew the socks off the music industry.
I'm constantly recording the songs that I enjoy. I do it in my home recording studio and limit all my recordings to one take. If I can't do the song in one take, I put it away for another day, maybe.
Venue owners and managers, don't want surprises. They deserve to know whether the entertainer fits into their venue clientelle.
So, as they say, "what you see is what you get", or in this case, "what you hear is what you get"!
In the music business they call this "COVERING" songs and although I cover about 600 songs in my repertoire, through trial and error, the songs I "Cover" here are songs which most people who might be in my audiences are familiar with, and might enjoy a little Deja Vu.
I hope you find something here that you will find both interesting and also pleasant to your ears.
